5 Minute Whole Wheat Pancakes

So you fancy pancakes for breakfast, brunch or just when ever the hell you like but you are trying to be healthier, I have got the perfect pancakes for you. They are so light, fluffy and tasty you wont regret making these! I have made these for a few people and they have all loved them. The great thing about pancakes is the toppings, you can either keep it all healthy and light or visit the dark side and make the pancakes naughty, the choice is yours!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 eggs
  • ย 1/4 tsp salt
  • tablespoon honey
  • 2 teaspoonsย baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 cup oil

 

Instructions

  1. Add wheat flour and milk to a blender and blend on high for 3 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
  2. Cook on a hot greased griddle/frying pan for 1-2 minutes on each side or until golden brown. (The batter will be VERY thin and you may start to question my judgement ๐Ÿ™‚ ย but press forward and you’ll see, they will puff up and be perfectly light and tender!)
